The Karnataka Forest mobile squad has arrested 4 poachers. The poachers busted were trying to sell elephant tusks. Where? At Annur Hosahalli in H.D. Kote taluk in the district.
Official sources told on Saturday that the arrested persons have been identified. They are:
- Ravikumar (32) of the Tumbasoge village in Sargur taluk
- Shivakumar (34)
- Kumaranayaka, 35 of H D Kote
- and another from Periyapatna.
The accused poachers busted were trying to sell two tusks. This was said by Deputy Conservator of Forests A.T. Poovaiah.
