Melghat Tiger Reserve education

Skill training to youth living near Melghat, an Indian tiger reserve


To keep people out of the forests means that they can provide their food for themselves. That means that people need a job and income so they can buy food, in stead of getting into the forests to kill animals or collect honey and things.

The Melghat Tiger Reserve has started a project to educate and develop youngster from 25 villages, to reduce their dependency on forests.
