To create a better world for tigers it is vital that people involved have the right amount of knowledge. Knowledge is acquired via education, studies and via science. NGOs often use awareness campaigns to let people understand what is going on. The most well-known awareness campaign on tigers is the ‘Global Tiger Day’, often also named ‘International Tiger Day’, a day to raise awareness on the situations of tigers, in the wild and in captivity.

Often people are not aware of the situations in which tigers try to survive, whether it is in the wild or in captivity. This is why awareness campaigns are executed, by NGOs, governments but also by individuals or action groups.

Whether you work in the conservation of business, in wild life crime enforcement or you raise awareness, it is vital that you have the right education for the task. Without this all efforts are bound to fail in the short run. With a proper education you can proceed much faster into being succesful.

The study of certain things can be very helpful. It can lead to preventing wildlife crime, it can lead to knowing where to create wildlife corridors etc, You don’t have to have a degree to be able to study the right things. A lot of science is used within and outside the university environments. Connecting these two can help a lot with preserving tigers.
