They found a Bengal tiger in injured condition in the Shuklaphanta National Park on Monday. Unfortunately the Shuklapanta tiger died. Rabin Chaudhary, the assistant conservation officer, said the tiger was found in an injured state. Where? Near the border pillar number 24 at the Nepal-India border. This lies to the south of the park.
“The tourist guides informed the park administration they spotting an injured tiger. The tiger died at night. Its post-mortem will be carried out at the park office,” he said.
Chaudhary also said the cause of death will be known from the post-mortem report. He added that they are investigating whether the Shuklapanta tiger came from. From India or from Nepal, as it was found on the border.
