Just after the three other tiger deaths, another tiger was found dead in India. This time on the border of Wardha and Amravati districts on Wednesday. This adds the number of tiger deaths in Vidarbha to four.
The state Forest Department said that the tiger was aged 13-14 years. He was found in the water of Upper Wardha dam, near the Wardha-Amravati border. It seamed the animal died of old age “as was evident from the wear and tear of dentition”.
